DIVORCE WITHOUT ATTORNEYS
After representing clients for many years in dissolution proceedings, and watching couples become emotionally and financially bankrupted by the legal battle, I became convinced there had to be a better way.
Divorce by mediation is a much better way for parties to end their marriage. Unlike a divorce trial, the parties in a mediation control the final outcome. You, not the judge, will decide what is best for you and your family.
Divorcing couples use me as a mediator to work out settlement agreements and parenting time arrangements and help them prepare all the necessary paperwork for the court to approve their settlement and enter the final order of dissolution.
Not only is mediation much less expensive than hiring counsel, frequently the entire mediation fee is lower than a single retainer to an attorney to begin the divorce proceeding. Not only is mediation cheaper, the process is quicker, private, and confidential.
The fee is spread over the mediation sessions and can be divided between the parties. Fees will be quoted during your free consultation. Visa & Mastercard are accepted.
Finally, even if one or both parties hire counsel, most jurisdictions require the parties to attend at least one mediation at the parties expense before they can appear in court. Therefore, why not try mediation on the front end before emotions and legal expenses get out of control. If you can't reach an agreement, you are still free to hire an attorney and proceed under the traditional route. Give mediation a try. You have nothing to loose!
